George Elliot once wrote, ''there is no despair so absolute as that which comes with our first moment of our first great sorrow, when we have not yet known what it is to have suffered and be healed, to have despaired and recovered hope.''
Just bear in mind that others despaired but they still recovered hope, which means your own case won't be an exception.
