As for all those seeing me, they hold me in derision; they keep opening their mouth wide; they keep wagging their head: He committed himself to Jehovah. Let him provide him with escape! _psalms 22:7, 8.

DAVID had prophesied that the messiah would be reviled. Jesus was reviled while suffering on the torture stake for Matthew reports: The passersby begin waking abusively of him, wagging their heads saying: 'O you would-be thrower-down of the temple nd builder of it in three days, save yourself! If you're really a son of God, come down off the torture stake!" similarly, the chief priest, scribes and older men. Made fun of him. And said "Others he saved; himself he cannot save! He is king of israel; let him now come down off the torture stake and we will believe on him. He has put his trust in God; let him now rescue him if he wants him, for he said, "i am God's son." (Matthew 27: 39-43) Yet, Jesus bore all of this with dignity. What a fine example for us!
